Abstract  In this paper, a fuzzy rough set model based on fuzzy inclusion is proposed and its related properties are presented. The properties of fuzzy belief measures and fuzzy plausibility measures determined by the lower and upper approximation of fuzzy rough set are discussed and applied in attribute reduction of random fuzzy information system.
