The Chinese Conference on Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision (PRCV) is the merger of two previous conferences, the Chinese Conference on Pattern Recognition (CCPR) and the Chinese Conference on Computer Vision (CCCV). It is set to be the most prestigious domestic academic conference in the field of pattern recognition and computer vision.

The 2nd Chinese Conference on Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision (PRCV2019) will be held in Xi'an on November 8-11, 2019. It is co-sponsored by China Computer Federation (CCF), Chinese Association of Automation (CAA) , China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG) and Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI). It is jointly held by Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an Jiaotong University and Xidian University.

The accepted papers will be presented at the conference and included in the proceedings published by Springer (indexed by EI and ISTP). Some selected papers will undergo further peer-review for publication in special issues of high quality journals. (Currently approved journals for special issues include Pattern Recognition and Neurocomputing.)
