The Chinese Conference on Pattern Recognition (CCPR) is aimed to provide a forum for academic exchange and achievements exhibition, and to promote the development of research and application on pattern recognition in China. The conference was held at Beijing in 2007 and 2008, Nanjing in 2009, Chongqing in 2010, Beijing in 2012 and Changsha in 2014. From 2012, CCPR will be held every two years.

        CCPR 2016, the 7th Chinese Conference on Pattern Recognition, will be held during 2016 in Chengdu, China. The conference solicits the submission of high quality research papers on any aspect of pattern recognition. Contributions from related disciplines which illuminate the state-of-the-art in pattern recognition are also of interest, together with papers on longer term research challenges as well as insightful comments which point to new research directions or brave perspectives that might pave the way to innovation.
